About Caroline Hulett

Senior Attorney

Caroline was raised in Hondo, Texas. She attended college at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History in 2005. Caroline graduated from law school from St. Mary’s School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity and a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Caroline graduated in the top 11% of her class.

Caroline has been practicing family law since 2010 and has represented clients in almost every area of family law, including: divorces (ranging from simple uncontested divorces to high net worth complex divorce cases), paternity matters, collaborative law, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement of child support, enforcement of possession and access, grandparent’s access, prenuptial agreements, and terminations and adoptions.  Although Caroline’s primary practice has been at the trial court level, she has worked on family law appeals and has represented clients in oral arguments before the Fourth Court of Appeals. 

In addition to family law, Caroline also has extensive experience in estate planning, probate, and real estate cases ranging from simple to complex. Additionally, Caroline has a background representing public housing authorities and has advised housing authorities in various matters, including evictions, open meetings, open records, personnel matters, Housing and Urban Development regulations, Texas Local Government Code compliance, and Fair Housing matters.

Caroline’s approach to handling family law matters is to provide the client with a clear understanding of the process and law so that clients can make the most informed decision.

Caroline is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the Family Law section of the San Antonio Bar Association. Caroline is an avid lover of all types of animals, especially horses and dogs, and has two dogs - Oliver Wendell and Betty Sue.
