Sarah Anne Lishman was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated with honors from Communications Arts High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2005, majoring in History and minoring in English. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she returned to San Antonio and attended St. Mary’s University School of Law.
While in law school, Sarah Anne was an officer of the Women’s Law Association and helped raise thousands of dollars for local non-profits. She was frequently recognized for her academic achievements, and was consistently named on the Dean’s List. She was also a staff writer for the St. Mary’s University Law Journal, which published her comment in 2013.
Following law school, Sarah Anne worked in several law firms handling a high volume of primarily family law matters, as well as consumer protection and other civil litigation cases. She handles jury trials and appellate matters.
She is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is licensed to practice law in Texas and in federal court for the Western District of Texas.
The achievements she is most proud of are her two beautiful children, Frank and Chloe Jane.

Caroline was raised in Hondo, Texas. She attended college at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History in 2005. Caroline graduated from law school from St. Mary’s School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity and a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Caroline graduated in the top 11% of her class.
Caroline has been practicing family law since 2010 and has represented clients in almost every area of family law, including: divorces (ranging from simple uncontested divorces to high net worth complex divorce cases), paternity matters, collaborative law, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement of child support, enforcement of possession and access, grandparent’s access, prenuptial agreements, and terminations and adoptions. Although Caroline’s primary practice has been at the trial court level, she has worked on family law appeals and has represented clients in oral arguments before the Fourth Court of Appeals.
In addition to family law, Caroline also has extensive experience in estate planning, probate, and real estate cases ranging from simple to complex. Additionally, Caroline has experience representing public housing authorities and has represented numerous housing authorities advised housing authorities in various matters, including evictions, open meetings, open records, personnel matters, Housing and Urban Development regulations, Texas Local Government Code compliance, and Fair Housing matters.
Caroline’s approach to handling family law matters is to provide the client with a clear understanding of the process and law so that clients can make the most informed decision.
Caroline is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Family Law section of the San Antonio Bar Association. Caroline is an avid lover of all types of animals, especially horses and dogs, and has two dogs- Oliver Wendell Hulett and Betty Sue.
Andrea graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. She then proceeded to law school at St. Mary’s University, earning her J.D. in 2022.
She joined Lishman Law in July of 2024, bringing a special skill set including fluency in Spanish and a guardianship certification.
Andrea is eager to serve our clients with effective and compassionate representation.
Veronica hails from El Paso, Texas, where she earned 20 years of experience in the legal services industry. She previously worked with board certified family law attorneys, developing a strong “muscle memory” for divorce and child custody matters. She is committed to delivering
meticulous work with a proven track record of reliability and organization.
Veronica earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English & Sociology from the University of Texas, El Paso. She joined Lishman Law, PLLC in June of 2024 as our senior paralegal.
She is fluent in Spanish, an avid dog-lover, and enjoys spending time with her family.
Isabella is currently entering her 2L year at Saint Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. She has shown a strong passion and talent for legal research and drafting (and cannot wait to get some hands-on experience in the courtroom as soon as she is eligible for a bar card!).

Sarah Anne is also a certified mediator, and in that capacity she helps families broker settlements.
